Our client was in the process of transitioning their operating certificate from Part 91 to Part 125. Operating under the existing rules carried fewer restrictions. The client's target was to write the Operations Manual (OM) per the new regulations, incorporate all required changes, and ensure compliance with the Civil Aviation Authority regulations.
Action plan
- Explain the Civil Aviation Authority processes in place and share the implementation plan with the main stakeholders.
- Execute the changes and update stakeholders as work progressed.
- Deliver the desired manuals before the cutoff date.
Outcome
The certification process with the Civil Aviation Authority went smoothly. Expectations were clarified in advance, and the execution team was informed beforehand about every expected step as they moved toward the target date to receive the new certificate.
